Teriyaki Chicken Musubi
Teriyaki Chicken Musubi is a delicious twist on the traditional Hawaiian snack, featuring juicy teriyaki chicken, rice, and nori.
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 cups cooked sushi rice
- 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
Instructions:
- Marinate the chicken thighs in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes, then grill or pan-fry until cooked through.
- Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.
- Place the musubi press on a clean surface. Lay a strip of nori across it, and add a layer of the cooked rice.
- Top the rice with a slice of fried chicken.
- Add another layer of rice on top of the sliced chicken and press down with the musubi press to compact it.
- Finally, fold the nori strip over the top and use a little water or soy sauce to seal the edge.
- Remove from the press and set aside. Repeat for more musubi.
